Contraindications

Commodery's devices should not be used in the following areas:

  • Breast area
  • Larynx/Throat
  • Chest
  • Groin area
  • Eyelids
  • Under brow bone

Commodery's devices should not be used by:

  • People under the age of 18
  • Women who are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • People subject to seizures
  • People with cancer/tumors
  • People with a cardiac pacemaker
  • People with implanted defibrillators/stimulators
  • People with electronic implanted devices
  • People suffering from a sunburn. 
  • People under medical care for diseases that involve photosensitivity.
  • People receiving photosensitizing medications.
  • People with severe acne.
  • People with any skin condition, apart from mild-to-moderate acne.
  • People with Fitzpatrick Skin Types V and VI.
  • People with a known allergic reaction to plastics. The device contains plastics that come into contact with the skin during use. When in doubt of allergies first contact your healthcare provider before using the device.
  • People who suffers from light-induced headaches.
  • People with a medical history of seizures that are triggered by light. 
  • People with a history of epilepsy.
  • People with phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, and varicose veins.

If you have any medical concerns, medical illness, medical conditions such as epilepsy or seizures, or recent facial surgery please consult your doctor before using our skincare devices.

Electronic monitoring equipment (such as ECG monitor and ECG alarms) may not operate properly when the GlowGenie is in use. The GlowGenie should only be used over healthy, intact skin.

Stimulation should not be applied over, or in proximity to cancerous lesions, or applied over swollen, infected, or inflamed areas or skin eruptions (e.g., phlebitis, thrombophlebitis, broken capillaries, varicose veins, etc.)

Potential adverse reactions may include skin irritation or redness. For adult use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Do not apply stimulation across your chest as the introduction of electrical current into the chest may cause rhythm disturbances to your heart, which could be lethal.

Precautions

Commodery's skincare devices are designed for cosmetic use only and for individuals in good health.

A slight tingling sensation may occur while using the GlowGenie. There also may be a perception of flashing lights during the use of the wand, resulting from the stimulation of your optic nerve. If you notice this condition constantly and/or without the use of your GlowGenie, consult your doctor.

Please review the user manual and online instructional video before using your GlowGenie. 

Caution should be exercised for patients with suspected or diagnosed heart problems.

Caution should be exercised for patients with suspected or diagnosed epilepsy.

Caution should be exercised if you have a tendency to hemorrhage following acute trauma, and/or when using the GlowGenie over areas of the skin that lack normal sensation.

The GlowGenie should not be used while driving, operating machinery, or during any activity in which involuntary muscle contractions may put the user at undue risk of injury.

If you have suspected or diagnosed heart disease, you should follow precautions recommended by your physician.

Consult with your physician prior to using the device after a recent surgical procedure.

Adverse Reactions

If you experience a persistent headache and/or other painful sensations during or following the use of the GlowGenie, you should stop using the device and consult with your physician.

This device is intended for cosmetic use on the face and neck. Any harmful consequence resulting from misuse, or application to other body areas, connection to improper voltage sources, dirty conductive solution, or any other improper applications is neither the responsibility of Commodery nor its affiliates.

 

How do I place an order?

How do I locate my package?

To find the status of your parcel, simply head to the track your order section and enter your tracking number (sent to you via email after the package is dispatched).

Here is the shipping timeline if your address is in the United States:

We do offer Priority Shipping at checkout which averages at 1-2 business days depending on the destination address.

If you are located internationally, the average delivery timeline is as follows:

What are the delivery costs?

We offer free standard worldwide shipping, however the cost of expedited shipping depends on the destination country. You can find the priority rates at checkout after the address has been entered.
